About Me

Emet Bookkeeping LLC is based on the Western Slope of Colorado. I have 15 years of bookkeeping experience working with small businesses, entrepreneurs, and freelancers. Much of my background is in construction and ranching—so I’m comfortable with real-world operations, imperfect records, and numbers that don’t always behave.

I’m straightforward, detail-oriented, and honest to a fault. If I don’t know the answer right away, I’ll tell you. Then I’ll dig in until I find it. I like solving problems, learning new things, and making sense of financials that feel messy or overwhelming. I also believe bookkeeping doesn’t have to be intimidating—or painfully serious—to be done well.

I care a lot about staying current in my field. Rules change, systems improve, and best practices evolve—and I make it a point to keep learning so your books stay accurate, compliant, and dependable. What worked five years ago doesn’t always work now, and I don’t believe in doing things “just because that’s how they’ve always been done.”
